Ingredients

Main
  • 1 lb kielbasa
  • 2 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 red onion
Honey garlic sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 4 garlic
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
For serving
  • 0.5 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp green onions

Equipment

  • 1 sheet pan

Method

Prep and sauce
  1. Preheat the oven to 400F and line a large baking sheet to get it ready for roasting. This hot start helps the kielbasa brown and the vegetables caramelize.
  2. Whisk honey garlic sauce ingredients together until smooth and glossy. Keep whisking just until the honey and mustard fully blend.
Toss and roast
  1. Toss kielbasa, broccoli florets, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, zucchini, and red onion with the honey garlic sauce. Mix until every piece looks lightly coated.
  2. Spread the coated mixture on the baking sheet in a single layer. Give the vegetables space so they roast instead of steaming.
  3. Roast for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway, until the vegetables are caramelized and the kielbasa is golden. Look for browned edges on broccoli and peppers and a shiny, set glaze on the sausage.
Serve
  1. Scatter sesame seeds and green onions over the sheet pan. Serve immediately while the glaze is still sticky and the veggies are hot.

Notes

For best caramelization, avoid overcrowding—use a wide sheet pan or roast in two batches if needed. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat on a sheet pan at 400°F for 8-12 minutes to re-crisp edges. Freezing is not recommended because the vegetables and sauce texture can turn softer after thawing. For a lower-sodium option, choose reduced-sodium soy sauce and adjust the red pepper flakes to keep the flavor bold.
